An historical note:
The original version, called SIMULATE, was
created in 1996 and used to introduce simulation
concepts to MBA students at the
Simon School of Business (at the University of Rochester).
Subsequent requests from various professors, who used it in their
respective advanced courses, resulted in revisions leading up to SIMULATE99. The first version without any academic
connections was SIMULATE2000 and SimRisk 2003 is the follow on successor.
